The Marigold Auditorium presents a staged reading of a brand new play (k)Night in Armor. Local playwright Lora Hogan has penned a tale of bravery, love, friendship and the ability to find freedom and escape - even when the future seems hopeless.


Step into the powerful story of (k)Night in Armor, a new play by Lora Hogan, as it unfolds in a special workshopped reading. Follow ANNA, a mother who faces insurmountable odds to break free from an abusive relationship and protect her newborn child. This gripping narrative explores the depths of freedom and the resilience required to reclaim one's life. Please note the story does deal with  domestic violence. A portion of the proceeds will go to Project Safe.

The cast includes Georgia professional actors Julia Wilson, Georgui Kassaev, Antonella Ferrero, Anthony Zuniga, Alex Thomas, KAT Marie Mitchell, in addition to the playwright herself. ABOUT LORA HOGAN
Lora Hogan is an Athens based actress on stage and screen, author, producer and more. She’s a member of the local improv group Flying Squid comedy, a company member and executive producer at Broken Arts Entertainment, serves on the Board of Trustees at Town & Gown, as well as is active in many more local organizations.
