Meet Juliette Gordon Low.avif

Libba Beaucham portrays Juliette Gordon Low from the year 1920 with a fun and engaging living history program that shares the history of Girl Scouts, "Daisy's" life, and the amazing contributions and successes of Girl Scouts since it began in 1912.

Libba has performed for thousands of students and Girl Scouts in-person and virtually over the last 6 years and has a deep knowledge of Juliette Low's life. Portraying "Daisy" from the year 1920, questions are answered in-character with stories from her extensive research. Libba has over 10 years of living history interpretation experience having worked at the Northeast Georgia History Center at Brenau University and the National Civil War Naval Museum. She has a background in theatre performance, improvisation, history education, and music which she brings to each unique performance.

This program will be highly interactive with opportunities for Girl Scouts to join Juliette on stage to take part in traditional Girl Scout skills and activities like marching, Morse code, semaphore flag signals, traditional Girl Scout games, songs, and more!

Girl Scouts in uniform and their families are offered free admission to this program and General Public tickets are $10.
